Screen NETS develops and delivers on the job training and career support programmes for new and recently entered practitioners.

Our ethos is to widen access to the industry for all. We support and guide trainees and participants to develop their skills and experience, build their contacts and establish careers while developing a professional approach and good working practices.

Through us, productions have the opportunity to discover talented new crew who have been vetted by industry professionals and to contribute to the growth in our diverse talent base and industry in Scotland.

We are a member of Screen Training Alliance Scotland (STAS). STAS has developed the Screen Training Code of Practice which we all use in our work with trainees, training participants and the screen industry.

We are funded by Screen Scotland and the productions we work with. Screen NETS is hosted by Screen Academy Scotland at Edinburgh Napier University.
